DESCRIPTION:A fun\, in-person gathering for siblings of children with speci
 al needs\n\nOptions &amp\; Advocacy for McHenry County SibShops on Feb. 5 
 from 9 - 11:30 a.m. has been CANCELED (The next meeting will be in-person 
 on March 5).\n\nSibShops are usually held the first Saturday of each month
  at Options &amp\; Advocacy\, 365 Millennium Drive\, Suite A\, in Crystal 
 Lake.\n\nThe Sibshops group is for 8- to 14-year-old siblings of kids with
  special needs.\n\nSibshops are engaging celebrations of the many contribu
 tions made by brothers and sisters of kids with special needs. They are a 
 spirited mix of new games (designed to be unique\, off-beat and appealing 
 to a wide ability range)\, new friends and discussion activities. They are
  not therapy\, although their effect may be therapeutic for some children.
 \n\nSibShops will be meeting in-person this season and following the same 
 COVID-19 protocols as most schools (masks required\, temperature readings\
 , etc.) unless state and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidel
