DESCRIPTION:Learn how to support those affected by autism spectrum disorde
 r at this free event.\n\nThe Rockford Regional Health Council and The Aut
 ism Program of Easterseals is hosting this regional engagement initiativ
 e on autism spectrum disorder (ASD) on May 16 at the Discovery Center Mu
 seum. The event will focus on\, “How can we support those impacted by a
 utism spectrum disorder within our communities?”\n\nThe discussion aims 
 to:\n\n 	Facilitate conversation among a diverse group of community stakeh
 olders.\n 	Increase awareness and knowledge of key issues surrounding ASD.
 \n 	Identify the most important services needed by families affected by AS
 D.\n 	Identify barriers faced by families when accessing those services\; 
 consider ways to mitigate those barriers.\n\nThe event will include a brie
 f opening presentation\, followed by small group discussions of a variety
