Sibshops are a fun\, sib-focused time to connect and relax with other siblings who get what being a sib is all abo ut.\n\nFor the adults who run them and for the agencies that sponsor them\ , Sibshops are evidence of their loving concern for the family member who will have the longest-lasting relationship with a person who has a disabil ity. However\, for the children and teens who attend them\, Sibshops are f un events where they will meet other sibs (usually for the first time)\, h ave fun\, laugh\, talk about the challenges and joys of having a sib with disabilities\, play some great games and learn something about the service s their brothers and sisters receive.\n\nEspecially during this time when many families are spending more time at home\, siblings are experiencing a ll kinds of feelings.
