DESCRIPTION:A free\, three-day event for parents/guardians and their child
 ren with a visual impairment ages birth to 5.\n\nIllinois parents or guard
 ians and their children with visual impairments are invited to attend the 
 36th annual Opening Doors conference at the Illinois School for the Visual
 ly Impaired in Jacksonville.\n\nThis year's conference is June 3-5. The th
 ree-day event is for Illinois parents or guardians and their children with
  visual impairments and additional disabilities who are 5 years old or you
 nger.\n\nOpening Doors aims to:\n\n 	Provide parents with information and 
 resources on issues related to young children with visual impairments.\n 	
 Provide parents with opportunities to interact with other parents raising 
 children with visual impairments.\n 	Provide the opportunity for participa
 nts to gain information specific to their child.\n 	Provide children an op
 portunity to interact with peers.\n\nRegistration\, food and housing durin
 g Opening Doors is free. More details and registration information can be 
 found in the Opening Doors brochure.\n\nThe deadline to register is April
