SUMMARY:PALS Inclusive Camp Experience in Elmhurst
DESCRIPTION:An inclusive camp experience for people with and without Down s
 yndrome (DS) ages 12 and up\n\nJoin Camp PALS for an inclusive camp experi
 ence at Elmhurst College on July 23-29.\n\nFor seven days and six nights\,
  Camp PALS Chicago I participants will be paired with a volunteer counselo
 r. Each pair will room together and be part of a small group team that wil
 l enjoy exploring:\n\n 	Unique on-campus activities that may include swimm
 ing\, canoeing and karaoke\n 	Life on a college campus\n 	Local sights\n 	
 Building transformative\, lifelong friendships\n\nCamp PALS is open to you
 ng adults with Down syndrome ages 12 to 17 (15 to 17 for peers without DS)
  and 18 and up.  A licensed medical professional will be on-site througho
 ut the week.\n\nThe cost of camp for participants with Down syndrome is $2
 \,200. PALS works with every participant to ensure that cost is never a ba
