DESCRIPTION:A free\, multi-day conference for parents and caregivers of chi
 ldren ages birth to 6 years old with vision loss\n\nThe Illinois School fo
 r the Visually Impaired (ISVI) is hosting its 41st annual Parent Infant In
 stitute/Opening Doors Program from June 5-8\, 2024. Families will check in
  from 2 to 5 p.m. on June 5.\n\nOpening Doors is a multi-day conference at
  ISVI for parents of children 6 years old or younger with visual impairmen
 ts and other disabilities.\n\nFamilies can explore a wide range of educati
 onal opportunities and resources. Session topics and activities will inclu
 de:\n\n 	Make-it-take-it and networking activities\n 	Functional Vision an
 d Orientation and Mobility consultation for your child\n 	A braille worksh
 op\n 	Sessions on topics such as Ask the Doctor\, sensory processing\, and
  more\n\nThe conference will also include a special "Dinner in the Dark" e
 vent for parents and caregivers.\n\nEvent housing\, food and registration
