SUMMARY:Parent Support Group and Webinar Series
DESCRIPTION:Join this free support group\, a partnership between the Divisi
 on of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC) and UIC’s Leadership and Educ
 ation in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities Program (IL LEND)\, f
 or "Navigating the COVID-19 Pandemic" on Jan. 19 from 7 - 8 p.m. The group
  will meet via Zoom on the third Wednesday of the month through April.\n\n
 This new support group and educational webinar series is open to all paren
 ts and caregivers of children enrolled with DSCC. It provides an online sp
 ace to access educational workshops and share concerns\, resources and str
 ategies.\n\nWorkshops topics may include:\n\n 	Respite care\n 	Feeding\n 	
 Ventilator maintenance/cleaning\n 	Transportation\n 	Navigating relationsh
 ips with staff\n\nThere is no cost to participate. The discussion portion
  of the support group will include a facilitator for Spanish-speaking fami
