DESCRIPTION:Note this event has been canceled.\n\nThe Pediatric Hemiplegia 
 Family Symposium gives Chicago-area families affected by pediatric-onset h
 emiplegia the chance to learn about ongoing research\, advocacy and educat
 ional efforts. Attendees can also participate in games and activities made
  for the whole family.\n\nThis half-day event is scheduled for April 4  a
 t the Northwestern Medicine campus in downtown Chicago.\n\nIt provides a c
 hance to connect with other families and learn some of the science Northwe
 stern University does related to pediatric-onset hemiplegia.\n\nChildren a
 re invited to attend with a parent.\n\nInteractive activities for the whol
 e family will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.\n\nActivities will be available fo
 r children who are pre-registered during the research talks from 9 a.m. to
  11 a.m. Children must be potty trained to participate.\n\nRegistration is
  $10 per person and includes breakfast\, snacks and drinks. Parking will b
 e available for the day for $6.\n\nThe deadline to RSVP is March 21. Visit
