SUMMARY:PKU Organization of Illinois Family Camp in Lacon
DESCRIPTION:Illinois Low Protein Camp for individuals with PKU and inborn e
 rrors of metabolism and their families.\n\nJoin the Phenylketonuria (PKU) 
 Organization of Illinois for "Family Camp 2024" from Aug. 9 - 11. Check-in
  is at 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 9. Check-out is at 10 a.m. on Aug. 11.\n\nSpend a
  weekend at the beautiful Great Oak Retreat Center having fun and making m
 emories with other families with PKU and inborn errors of metabolism (IEM)
 .\n\nCamp will kick off with a potluck dinner. The camp asks everyone is a
 sked to bring their favorite low protein dish to share with the group Frid
 ay evening.\n\nActivities throughout the weekend will also include:\n\n 	S
 wimming\n 	Canoeing and paddle boating\n 	Arts and crafts\n 	Archery\n 	A 
 high ropes course and ziplining (for ages 12 and up)\n 	Fishing\n 	Bonfire
 s\n\nFamily Camp is free for IEM campers. Family members are $10 each.\n\n
