DESCRIPTION:Explore Northerly Island and enjoy animals\, winter activities 
 and crafts during this free event.\n\nPolar Adventure Day at Northerly Isl
 and in Chicago is scheduled for noon to 4 p.m. on Feb. 23. This free event
  takes place both outdoors and inside the visitor center\, so please dress
  appropriately.\n\nThe following activities will be available:\n\n 	Tour t
 he new Northerly Island Natural Area\n 	See Siberian huskies\, wolves and 
 other live animals\n 	Encounter birds of prey from Flint Creek Wildlife Re
 habilitation\n 	Explore the island on snowshoes (if there's snow)\n 	Make
  nature-inspired winter crafts\n 	Sip hot cocoa\n 	Enjoy at the SAFE + FAI
 R Healthy Snack Station\n\nNortherly Island is located at 1521 S. Linn Whi
 te Drive on the Museum Campus. Limited parking is available for $3\, cash
