DESCRIPTION:A beatboxing workshop for youth ages 8 to 15 on the autism spec
 trum\n\nThe Chicago Children’s Theatre invites you to the Red Kite Beatb
 oxing Workshop that will run Oct. 26 - Nov. 2 from 5 to 6 p.m. The worksho
 p consists of three Wednesday evening sessions.\n\nThe class will be at th
 e Chicago Children’s Theater\, 100 S. Racine Ave.\, in Chicago.\n\nBeatb
 oxing (also beat boxing) is a form of vocal percussion. Artists mimic drum
  machines and other instruments using their mouth\, lips\, tongue and voic
 e.\n\nDesigned for young people on the autism spectrum\, this music worksh
 op will get you beatboxing and making music with your whole body in no tim
 e. Build confidence in expressing your creative side\, practice social-emo
 tional skills and have fun.\n\nIn the final workshop\, participants will s
 hare some of their favorite parts of the class with families.\n\nThe works
 hop costs $75 for three sessions. Learn more about scholarships/financial
