DESCRIPTION:Summer camp fun for children and youth who are deaf or hard of 
 hearing featuring field trips\, sports\, sign language and Deaf culture ac
 tivities\n\nJoin the Illinois School for the Deaf (ISD) for "Camp 1839" fr
 om June 17-21.\n\nCampers will stay in the dorms and experience life as a 
 student at ISD.\n\nCamp 1839 will provide a wide range of opportunities fo
 r campers to make new friends and develop lifelong connections. Campers wi
 ll also:\n\n 	Learn through play and STEAM (science\, technology\, enginee
 ring\, art\, math) activities\n 	Explore American Sign Language (ASL) and 
 Deaf culture\n 	Make a splash at the water park\n 	Play sports\n 	Put gami
 ng skills to the test in friendly competition with their peers and more!\n
 \nCamp 1839 is for students who are deaf or hard of hearing entering fourt
 h through eighth grade in the fall.\n\nThe cost is $75 per camper.\n\nRegi
