SUMMARY:Rockford Be Strong Families Parent Cafes
DESCRIPTION:Training session for parents who are involved with DCFS.\n\nYWC
 A La Voz Latina Parent Cafes engage parents in meaningful conversations ab
 out what matters most - their family and how to strengthen that family by 
 building protective factors. The Parent Cafes are focused on building the 
 five researched-based protective factors that lessen the negative effects 
 of trauma.\n\nThis training session focuses on Knowledge and is Feb. 15 
 at 10:30 a.m.\n\nParents must RSVP two weeks prior to scheduled session. R

 1\, ext. 318. CYCIS (Child and Youth Centered Information System) ID is re
 quired prior to training. No other referrals or paperwork is necessary.\n\
 nThere is no cost to attend the Parent Cafés and snacks will be provided.
  Child care will not be provided during the session\, so parents must make
  alternate arrangements in advance. All sessions will be facilitated in En
 glish. Please call for questions regarding Spanish-speaking participants w
 ho may be interested in attending.\n\n&nbsp\;
