SUMMARY:Rockford Be Strong Families Parent Cafes
DESCRIPTION:Training session for parents who are involved with DCFS.\n\nYWC
 A La Voz Latina Parent Cafes engage parents in meaningful conversations ab
 out what matters most - their family and how to strengthen that family by 
 building protective factors. The Parent Cafes are focused on building the 
 five researched-based protective factors that lessen the negative effects 
 of trauma.\n\nThis training session focuses on Journey to Vitality and i
 s May 17 at 10:30 a.m.\n\nParents must RSVP two weeks prior to scheduled 
 session. RSVP by calling or emailing Jordyn at jordynj@ywcanwil.org or (81
 5) 968-9681\, ext. 318. CYCIS (Child and Youth Centered Information System
 ) ID is required prior to training. No other referrals or paperwork is nec
 essary.\n\nThere is no cost to attend the Parent Cafés and snacks will be
  provided. Child care will not be provided during the session\, so parents
  must make alternate arrangements in advance. All sessions will be facilit
 ated in English. Please call for questions regarding Spanish-speaking part
 icipants who may be interested in attending.\n\n&nbsp\;
