DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\nAn international virtual conference designed for eve
 ryone and anyone who wants to advance inclusion in science and the STEM fi
 elds\n\nJoin SciAccess for the Science Accessibility Conference via Zoom o
 n Nov. 12 and 13 from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.\n\nThis interdisciplinary\, internat
 ional conference is dedicated to exploring the ways in which science and S
 TEM (science\, technology\, engineering and mathematics) can be more acces
 sible\, particularly for individuals with disabilities.\n\nThe 2021 confer
 ence features over 40 speakers\, including keynote addresses from Virgin G
 alactic Astronaut Sirisha Bandla\, Blue Origin Astronaut Chris Boshuizen\,
  MacArthur Genius Joshua Miele and Mission Director and AstroAccess Ambass
 ador Apurva Varia.\n\nConference topics will include:\n\n 	Harnessing soci
 al media to create a community using platforms like DisabledInSTEM\, a men
 torship program for individuals with disabilities\n 	Empowering students w
 ith low vision and their teachers in STEM through Project Inspire\, which 
 uses a math braille code to help create tactile graphics and make visual m
 athematical representations more accessible\n 	Using robotics to increase 
 skills among students who are deaf and hard of hearing\n\nSciAccess aims t
 o address societal and educational barriers to science faced by students\,
  professionals\, researchers and members of the public who have disabiliti
