SUMMARY:Seasons Hospice Foundation’s Camp Kangaroo in River Forest
DESCRIPTION:A free day camp for children and teens ages 5 to 18 who have re
 cently experienced the death of a loved\n\nSeasons Hospice Foundation\, in
  partnership with the Lauri S. Bauer Foundation for Sudden Loss\, is hosti
 ng Camp Kangaroo on June 23 to 25 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.\n\nCamp Kangaro
 o is a supportive\, therapeutic environment for children and teens who hav
 e experienced the death of someone close to them.\n\nDedicated professiona
 ls and trained volunteers from AccentCare Hospice\, formerly Seasons Hospi
 ce &amp\; Palliative Care\, lead the camp. It provides campers an opportun
 ity to:\n\n 	Build relationships and feel less alone in their loss\n 	Rece
 ive grief education and emotional support\n 	Experience a wide variety of 
 fun activities\n\nChildren and teens ages 5 to 18 who have experienced the
  loss of a loved one in the last three years are welcome.\n\nChildren expe
 rience grief in their own unique way. Please complete and submit the inqui
 ry form. A staff member will contact you for an interview that will help t
 heir team prepare for and meet each camper's individual needs.\n\nSee the
