SUMMARY:SibShops in Rolling Meadows
DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\nAn in-person event where siblings of children with d
 isabilities have fun\, meet peers and hang out\n\nNorthwest Special Recrea
 tion Association (NWSRA) is hosting Sibshops on April 21 from 4:30 to 6:30
  p.m.\n\nThe event is at Rolling Meadows Community Center\, 3705 Pheasant 
 Drive\, in Rolling Meadows.\n\nSibshops provide siblings of children with 
 disabilities the chance to meet new friends\, engage in peer support\, han
 g out and participate in a wide variety of recreational activities.\n\nSib
 shops are intended for siblings ages 8-12 years old.\n\nIn addition\, NWSR
 A offers a parent meeting at the same time as the SibShops program. Parent
 s are invited to meet\, chat\, learn about additional resources and discus
 s issues they may be facing as a family.\n\nThe parent meeting is on a dro
 p-in basis. Reservations are not needed.\n\nGet the Sibshops flyer in Engl
 ish or Spanish.\n\nSibshops is free but registration is required. Get a re
