DESCRIPTION:Free event offers in-depth discussions\, experts in the field
  and insights from fellow parents.\n\nThe Southern Illinois Vision Confere
 nce will take place March 16 at the Belleville Area Special Service Coope
 rative.\n\nThe event is for parents of children ages birth through 21 to j
 oin in-depth discussions of use topics and learn from experts in the field
  as well as from fellow parents. Children must be at least 12 years old to
  attend.\n\nThe conference program will include the following topics and s
 essions:\n\n 	Blindness versus low vision\n 	Social/emotional needs\n 	IEP
  and transition\n 	Orientation and mobility\n\nThe conference is free to a
 ttend. Service providers are also welcome to attend and will be able to ea
 rn professional credits.\n\nThe registration deadline is March 11. For mor
