SUMMARY:Special Education Trainings for Parents
DESCRIPTION:Learn how to navigate the special education system through the 
 Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).\n\nFamily Resource Cen
 ter on Disabilities (FRCD) is holding six sessions\, all free and on Sat
 urdays between January 30 and February 27.  As a parent\, you are your ch
 ild's best advocate and an equal member of his or her Individualized Educa
 tion Program (IEP) team.  The more you know about IDEA\, the better equip
 ped you are to advocate for your child's right to a free appropriate publi
 c education.\n\nThe topics to be covered in the training sessions include:
