SUMMARY:Stepping Stones Bereavement Camp in Eureka\, Mo.
DESCRIPTION:Free overnight camp where youth ages 6 to 15 can explore their 
 grief after experiencing the death of a family member or close friend\nBJC
  Hospice will host &#8220\;Stepping Stones Bereavement Camp&#8221\; from A
 ug. 8 to 10.\nStepping Stones Bereavement Camp is a safe place for childre
 n who have lost a loved one to explore their grief and have fun. The camp 
 is open to any child who has lost a loved one\, not just those who receive
 d services from BJC Hospice.\nProfessional staff and volunteers will provi
 de therapeutic activities in an atmosphere of understanding and encouragem
 ent. Campers will spend time with kids their age who have a similar experi
 ence.\nActivities will include:\n\nReflecting on their feelings of grief\n
 Remembering and honoring their loved one\nSharing encouragement and experi
 ences with their peers\nSwimming\nPlaying games\nDoing arts and crafts\n\n
