SUMMARY:Summer Hockey Camp for Players with Hearing Loss
DESCRIPTION:Camp for male and female hockey players with an established he
 aring loss.\n\nSponsored by the American Hearing Impaired Hockey Associati
 on (AHIHA)\, the camp is for youth beginners through college-level ability
  players.\n\nPlayers attending the camp have the opportunity to work with 
 a number of USA Hockey qualified coaches in on-ice skills\, systems of pla
 y and fundamentals of skating\, along with off-ice conditioning. The pl
 ayers are placed on a team based on age\, ability and experience. All the 
 teams play games against outside competition during the week of the camp. 
 There is also a program for beginning players.  They concentrate on skati
 ng skills and beginning hockey skills.\n\nAHIHA will provide bus transport
 ation daily to transport the hockey players and their families\, to and fr
 om the ice arena from the host hotel and back. AHIHA also provides three e
 vening meals during the week and a buffet breakfast every morning.  There
  is a Closing Reception following the Awards Ceremony on the last day of 
 the camp.\n\nHockey Camp participants are responsible for travel and accom
 modations\, meals (that are not provided by AHIHA) and transportation othe
