DESCRIPTION:Sensory-friendly swim time for children on the autism spectrum 
 and individuals with sensory sensitivities and their families\nSwanson Poo
 l at Pottawatomie Park will host a Sensory Swim on Aug. 10 from 9:30 to 11
  a.m.\nThis open swim is for children on the autism spectrum and individua
 ls with sensory sensitivities and their families.\nParticipants will enjoy
 :\n\nFewer people in and around the pool\nA calm environment with minimize
 d water features\nSupportive and understanding staff\n\nThe facility will 
 open to the public at 11 a.m. Sensory swim participants can stay and enjoy
  the pool the rest of the day.\nTickets are $5 per person.\nYou can buy ti
 ckets online for the Swanson Pool Sensory Swim. Space is limited. You must
  buy a ticket in advance.\nThe For Scout Foundation supports this program 
 in remembrance of Scout Cantrell and to help children learn to love swimmi
 ng as much as she did.\n
