DESCRIPTION:Free event for high school students with disabilities and their
  parents to gain resources for the transition to adulthood.\n\nThe Norther
 n Illinois Transition Planning Committee presents the 2020 Transition Fair
  on March 12 at Highland Community College in Freeport.\n\nThe event is fo
 r high school juniors and seniors with disabilities and their parents who 
 want to learn more about transitioning from high school to college\, emplo
 yment and independent living.\n\nThe event includes speaker Tim Connors\, 
 who will share how to be empowered when transitioning from high school to 
 college\, employment and independent living.\n\nOther event activities inc
 lude:\n\n 	An introduction to Highland Community College and support servi
 ces.\n 	An in-depth panel discussion covering big topics of transition fro
 m high school to adulthood.\n 	Booths from local area agencies\, including
  the Division of Specialize Care for Children's Rockford Regional Office.\
