SUMMARY:Virtual - Illinois STEM Week for Deaf-and Hard-of-Hearing Students
DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\nA free\, virtual opportunity for deaf and hard-of-he
 aring college-bound students aged 14 to 19 to explore their career interes
 ts in science\, technology\, engineering and math (STEM) fields\n\nJoin th
 e Rochester Institute of Technology’s National Technical Institute for t
 he Deaf and the Illinois Department of Human Services (DHS)\, Division of 
 Rehabilitation Services\, for Illinois STEM Week on June 24 to 29.\n\nThe 
 program is for all eligible deaf and hard-of-hearing high school students 
 aged 14 to 19 with approval from the DHS\, Department of Vocational Rehabi
 litation.\n\nStudents will:\n\n 	Get hands-on experience in technology and
  specialized skills\n 	Build confidence and develop decision-making skills
 \n 	Join fun evening activities and make new friends from all over the sta
 te\n 	Have fun!\n\nStudents will also work with career counselors and facu
 lty in small group settings to learn more about their interests and STEM c
