DESCRIPTION:Strategies to help students with disabilities stay off Snapchat
  and focus on learning for parents\, caregivers and educators\n\nJoin Fami
 ly Matters Parent Training &amp\; Information Center (FMPTIC) and Infinite
 c for "Staying Off Snapchat" on May 7 from 12 to 1 p.m.\n\nMany students a
 re learning online and are struggling with executive function skills and c
 ompleting their work.\n\nExecutive function and self-regulation skills are
  the mental processes that enable us to plan\, focus\, remember instructio
 ns and juggle multiple tasks successfully. Social media and browsing the w
 eb can become distractions that lead to uncompleted work.\n\nInfinitec wil
 l provide strategies for keeping students focused and off Snapchat. Partic
 ipants will learn about:\n\n 	Loosening the grip of social media on studen
 ts\n 	Identifying features important to supporting time management and foc
 us\n 	Understanding and using the SETT framework when selecting technology
  to support executive function skills\n 	Resources and technology tools to
  support executive function while online learning\n\nEducators\, parents a
