 sionals and people with disabilities navigate difficult conversations to r
 educe conflicts and misunderstanding\n\nJoin the University of Illinois Ch
 icago's Institute on Disability &amp\; Human Development (IDHD) and The Au
 tism Program (TAP) webinar series for "Navigating Difficult Conversations"
  on Nov. 2 from 12 to 1 p.m.\n\nCommunication is key in seeking out and/or
  providing disability services and resources for families\, providers and 
 self-advocates.\n\nPresenter Dr. Stephanie Weber will share resources and 
 strategies to navigate difficult conversations to reduce the chances of mi
 sunderstanding and conflict.\n\nStephanie will help give participants the 
 tools needed to move toward a resolution if and when there is conflict. To
 pics will include:\n\n 	Basic conflict resolution styles\n 	Defining the a
 spects of a crucial conversation\n 	Identifying approaches to use when fac
 ed with difficult situations and conversations\n 	How to create safety in 
 conversations\n\nStephanie is an assistant professor in the Department of 
 Pediatrics at the University of Cincinnati and works in the Division of De
 velopmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital 
 Medical Center. She is the training director for the (LEND) program Univer
 sity Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities.\n\nRegister onli
