DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\nThe first session in a webinar series focusing on ad
 vancing  clinical care of children with medical complexities and dis
 abilities\n\nThe Collaborative Conversations with Families to Advance the 
 Clinical Care of Children with Medical Complexities (CMC) and Disabilities
  C6 seminar series starts on Sept. 9 from 12 - 1 p.m.\n\nFamily caregivers
 \, youth and friends of children with medical complexity are welcome to jo
 in along with healthcare professionals\, researchers\, policymakers and an
 yone invested in advancing clinical care in CMC.\n\nThis inaugural session
  "Knowledge Gaps in the Care of Children With Medical Complexity and Neuro
 disability" will provide an overview of the topics that will be delivered 
 throughout the series.\n\nA family representative will join co-leads Dr. E
 yal Cohen and Dr. Catherine Diskin to introduce a 2020 international study
  that prioritized key clinical research questions for the care of children
  with neurodisability and medical complexity. This study is the basis of t
 his webinar series.\n\nThis session will also focus on:\n\n 	Discussing th
 e challenges with the current evidence base guiding many care practices fo
 r children with medical complexity with neuro-irritability\n 	Describing t
 he list of top priorities for clinical research in children with medical c
 omplexity and neurodisability\n\nFuture seminars will include a panel of n
 ational experts\, both clinical and caregiver\, and feature an overview of
  the topic and a conversation on shared decision-making in pediatric compl
 ex care. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions\, share insights and en
