SUMMARY:Self-Advocacy Webinar Series - "Self-Advocacy & Self-Determination"
DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\nA free\, seven-week webinar series on self-advocacy 
 for individuals with disabilities and their families\n\nFamily Matters Par
 ent Training and Information Center is hosting a "Seven Ways to Promote Se
 lf-Advocacy Series." The next session is "Self-Advocacy &amp\; Self Determ
 ination" on Aug. 10 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.\n\nThis seven-week series will
  feature parent and youth advocates as speakers. Youth can listen and inte
 ract with the youth advocate presenters while the adults will listen to th
 e parent speakers.\n\nEach presentation will be 30 minutes with a 15-minut
 e question-and-answer portion. All sessions will be from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m
 .\n\nThe schedule for the remaining webinars is:\n\n 	Aug. 17 - Being a Pa
