 nWould you like to learn more about the transition to adulthood and advoca
 ting for your teen with autism?\n\nJoin The Autism Program of Illinois (TA
 P) for the next Advocating for Supports to Improve Service Transitions (AS
 SIST) virtual training program "Surrogate Decision-Making" on Sept. 11 fro
 m 6 to 8 p.m.\n\nASSIST training will be via Zoom and run through May 13\,
  2024.\n\nSessions will:\n\n 	Feature an expert-led presentation related t
 o transitioning to adulthood\n 	Meet on Mondays at 6 p.m.\n 	Occur one or 
 more times per month\n\nTopics will include:\n\n 	Guardianship and alterna
 tives to guardianship\n 	Medicaid waiver services\n 	Social Security benef
 its\n 	Special needs trusts\n\nEach session will provide time for discussi
 on and questions.\n\nAll sessions are virtual and will begin at 6 p.m. The
  training is free for Illinois parents and caregivers of youth with autism
  ages 14 to 22.\n\nRegister for the surrogate decision-making webinar. Ind
