DESCRIPTION:Learn about navigating Illinois' PUNS waitlist and services and
  supports into adulthood for people with disabilities at this free in-pers
 on event for caregivers\n\nMcLean County Unit District 5\, Child and Famil
 y Connections of Central Illinois (Look What I Can Do) and The Arc of Illi
 nois will host "What is PUNS?" on Jan. 23 from 5 to 7 p.m. The presentatio
 n will begin at 5:30 p.m.\n\nDoes your child participate in special educat
 ion services and will need supports and services into adulthood? This even
 t is a great opportunity to connect with other caregivers face-to-face and
  learn about the PUNS (Prioritization of Urgency of Need for Services) wai
 tlist.\n\nAnnie Bruno from The Arc of Illinois will help participants gain
  a better understanding of PUNS and the services available in Illinois thr
 ough the Home and Community-Based Waiver.\n\nAnnie will cover:\n\n 	The pu
 rpose of the PUNS waitlist\n 	How to navigate a PUNS selection\n 	How to c
 hoose the right services for your loved one\n 	Resources you can access wh
 ile waiting\n\nAnnie will also provide plenty of time for answering questi
