STAR NET Region IV will host a “Virtual Support Group for Families of Young Children with Disabilities” on Zoom on Sept. 25 from 6 to 7 p.m.

This webinar will offer family members an overview of early childhood services and supports that school districts must provide.

Public Policy and Education Liaison Linda Prewitt will cover:

• Early childhood services and supports
• Required school district supports and services
• Tips for advocating for your child

There will also be time for a question-and-answer session.

Linda has more than three decades of experience:

• Working in the social services/education system
• Advocating for her daughter with a chronic health condition
