  • IDPH & ISBE Joint Guidance for COVID-19 Prevention in Schools

    The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) have fully adopted CDC guidelines and have provided guidance for the school year in a joint summary Operational Guidance for K-12 Schools and Early Care and Education Programs to Support Safe In-Person Learning and related CDC FAQ.

    Site information also includes school and youth data metrics, a decision tree and post-vaccination considerations for school employees.

     

     

  • Illinois Association of Free and Charitable Clinics

    Illinois Association of Free and Charitable Clinics (IAFCC) foster partnerships aimed at improving access to quality healthcare for low-income individuals who are uninsured or underinsured. IAFCC provides webinars, resources for patients, and a statewide directory of free and charitable clinics.

    The Illinois Department of Public Health provides a list of COVID-19 testing sites at https://dph.illinois.gov/covid19/testing.html.

  • Illinois COVID-19 Vaccination Locations

    Illinois has launched a statewide vaccination site locator at https://coronavirus.illinois.gov/s/vaccination-location.

    The site is searchable by zip code and city and can be accessed through coronavirus.illinois.gov. It will serve as a hub of all vaccine-related information, directing residents to the appointment booking homepages of Illinois’ 97 local health departments and the state’s pharmacy partners.

    The IDHHC has developed American Sign Language videos of key guidance regarding COVID-19 based upon publications by the Illinois Department of Public Health.

  • Illinois Helpline for Opioids and Other Substances (24/7)

    If you or someone you know is suffering from an opioid use disorder or other substance use disorders, call the Illinois Helpline for Opioids and Other Substances at 833-2FINDHELP to speak with a trained professional for support and advice or to be directed to customized resources. You can also visit www.HelplineIL.org.

    The Arc of Illinois provides COVID-19 resources for Illinois residents with developmental disabilities. The topics include general COVID-19 information, Illinois Department of Human Services Developmental Disabilities Services and Supports information and webinar recordings on COVID-19 issues and services.

    Illinois Unidos provides a collection of resources developed for and focusing on Latinx families to address:

    The devastating economic impact of COVID-19

    Illinois Unidos is a consortium of more than 150 Latino elected and appointed officials, health professionals and representatives of community-based organizations.

  • Illinois Warm Line

    If you or one of your family members has mental health and/or substance use challenges and would like to receive support by phone, call the Illinois Warm Line at (866) 359-7953.

    Wellness support specialists are professionals who have experienced mental health and/or substance use recovery in their own lives. They are trained in recovery support, mentoring and advocacy.

    The Illinois Warm Line is not a crisis hotline, but is a source of support as you recover or help a family member to recover. Illinois Warm Line hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., except holidays.

    The Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) also provides a list of state and national helplines offering someone to talk to or help during a crisis.
